Great working environment but too Focused a lot on numbers and metrics are getting harder and harder to achieve Retention Agent Current Employee - Remote - July 29, I guess this is just the nature of being in a retention position but there are a lot of focus on numbers. However, people are really nice and compassionate and really helps each other out into reaching goals.

SiriusXM is living in the past, no new technology or perks for people who can now just stream any music for free through an app. Management this is people are ignorant to this. I performed well over the phone, but eventually found a better solution for me with a product that people actually want. Unlike SiriusXM. Pros Work from home. Cons Not recommendable. Typical call center, driven by numbers. Training provided before going into your position which is helpful and appreciated - shows that they want you to do it right.
Pretty basic tasks for the Retention part of this job basically a sales position. Co workers are a hit or miss with work ethic, some lazy as most places have a batch of them - the no good kind. They could be better, have a better caliber of employees. Rather good company, hourly rate was fair with room to grow, full benefits, and retirement plan. However, not very flexible.. Hence, the revolving door to this place. Loved being able to put both my creative and leadership hats on in this position.

Mentally draining and so boring the managers picked favorites of who would get better leads and calls if you had to take a day off prepare to be asked to come back that night or work another day the pay scale is deceiving when getting hired they make you have to get a certain amount of sales to be able to get paid more which when I was working it was 25 a week and literally no one could do it so everyone was getting paid there would be times when the phones would go down for hours and we just had to sit there you got no break time on a 6 hour shift you were only allowed 12 minutes of personal break and a 25 minute meal break so if you had to go the bathroom a couple times and go over 12 minutes get ready for A storm from the managers coming your way if you start messing up break time they put you in worse leads.

Loud background noise - so much that they had a low noise section for those who could not hear their customers. Pros Schedule. In and out on time. Cons Loud background, gimmicks instead of raises. Pros pandora premium plus acct, they pay you for tour internet while wfh. Cons short lunch, scorecards, commission, breaks, everything. Everyone comes together and helps the other. It's more like a family unit that just a job.

As a board operator, I worked in sports production. I would listen to broadcasts and overlay spots and station IDs at proper times, maintain recordings, etc. The culture was great, although I worked for a poor manager. Pros Enjoyable work especially if a sports fan , comfortable studios, nice campus. Cons Not much room for career growth, parking issues, traffic can be very bad during certain hours.
