For being a world wide organization, the local corporate office cared about their employees, we had family events and employee events. They had wonderful benefits and my direct supervisor was a great guy to work for. Pros Great company, they promote from within and recognize your achievements. Cons None that I can think of.

Bovis was a great company to work for. Good pay, great benefits but they could not remain in business due to the down turn in Bovis no longer exist.

Overall Lendlease is a great company to work for with a leading name in the construction management world. The work life balance is not the best as it is construction so everything is fast paced and almost always urgent. This is offset by the great benefits package and even more so that amazing people that work as a team, going above and beyond, to get everything done. You wear many hats here and have tremendous opportunity to learn and grow. The business shifts quickly, but every manager I had at Lendlease in my 3 years there was absolutely amazing.
I would highly recommend working here, especially to gain experience in every part of construction from start to finish. Nice place to work.
Working night shift for years is hard. The Management team is good. I started working for Bovis in Tampa at a room condo project as a laborer for security. I soon became promoted to the assistant of the East side project manager. I was responsible for checking all sub contractors final work orders and had a crew of punch out people to expidite the work. As the project wound down, i was put in charge of warrantys for the owners.
Then they moved me to the Clearwater Beach Hyatt where I was givin various projects, then promoted to Labor Foreman with a crew of 30 to 35 people and taking assignments from 12 different supervisors. Stressful but I loved the chalange. Pros Pay was good and lots of overtime. Cons Too many chiefs. Great work, not enough pay. Even though I held three titles with this company they found a way to pay me too little. Being given a lot of responsibility should come with the appropriate compensation.
My boss was great, the boss above him, not so much. They allowed unsafe people to continue to work them putting the rest of us at risk. Pros The responsibility, my boss. Cons Little pay, unsafe environment. After a major safety violation which resulted in two deaths, the wrong people were fired, and the wrong people were retained.

The company is adaptive and innovative. I worked with a lot of good people during my time at Lendlease, but just couldn't stay there any longer. My raises were fairly minimal Would you rate your company five stars? Rate your employer to help people make better career decisions.
