Opened in as a collaboration among Columbus State University, Columbus Water Works, and the City of Columbus, Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center provides exhibits, natural history displays, nature trails, and also offers formal and informal educational programs about the ecology and natural history of the region.
Inside the center, visitors can view a variety of snakes, both venomous and non-venomous, turtles, tortoises, fish, alligators, invertebrates, and lots more.

Most Recent. Very good. Outdoors, and exhibits, great walk on the river. This is a great place, there are exhibits and things to see close to parking with wide accessable paths or if you are adventurous it access many acres to walk along the river.
We have seen eagles, fish, birds in the wild, and the exhibits of gator, animals, are always clean and well tended. Nice place for a quick visit, especially for younger children. It was cheap. They ask for a donation. Obviously this is not a normal year. Please be sure of the meeting location as they have been different than our normal meeting locations.
FYI: All of our meetings are on the second Monday of the month, except, of course, our Fall annual picnic. Now you can put us on your calendar early and plan out your entire year of beekeeping meetings.
