Management is absolutely horrible. They are very two-faced, and childish. A lot of favouritism in the building. No room for advancement, unless your are a brown-noser. Short breaks. They love to know personal business just so they can talk about you later. Work isn't bad if you can tolerate the people.
She is always thinking about each and every employee and tries to be there for everyone. When making decisions she always makes them not only based on what is best for the company but what is best for the employee as well. I've never had a boss as great as her! She doesn't just manage but is involved in every part of the company.
I didn't have to worry that my job would be on the line and could focus on the emergence. Heads up to the director that deals with this daily. She does a great job!. The drama is sometimes crazy. I have worked at TDEC for over a year now and the company has been nothing but great! The company celebrated their 60 year anniversary last year and has many locations across the United States. A typical day at work for me includes an 8 hour work day, 5 days a week with a 30 minute lunch break. I leave work on time and am able to take off when needed to attend to my personal life.
The company provides standard policies and follows them fairly across the board. The culture at TDEC is fast-paced and team-oriented. The hardest part of the job for me is sitting for long periods of time but I am able to take breaks when needed to stretch my legs. The most enjoyable part of my job is the satisfaction of doing a good job. Pros Free coffee, well stocked vending machines, individual lockers to keep your belongings in.

The hours were good but you never advance to full time. Work would be slow at times and I would be sent home or never go at all. Can't make a living that way. Had a good experience processing.

Most of your know how comes from hands on training. The job pays decent. Very poor management. Company decided on a Friday that they weren't making enough money and were going to pull out of the contract and drop all of us. Luckily the other contractor picked us up. Would not return calls about benefits, did not understand the work involved in the contract. I was there for a short time, but I enjoyed it.
It was easy work and they left me to my own devices. They did not try to micromanage me and just allow me to do the job I was assigned to. The only reason why I left was due to a lack of health insurance, which I desperately needed. If I needed a job and health insurance was not an issue, I would defi itely work there again.

Training is nonexistent, you know nothing until you get on the floor and have to do it.. My supervisor was great. Very helpful..
