It used to be a little better many years ago even though they claim it is still the same chef! The cook might be giving Taste of China is located in the Safeway plaza in south San Jose. It's a big sized restaurant that could probably seat 50 people. Staff is friendly, service is fast, and store is clean.

This is my favorite chinese food place. I always feel so welcome here , delicious food , loads of it , good value. The sampler plate is amazing. The chef cut up the shrimp for me in my shrimp fried rice because I don't like big shrimp. The lemon Chicken was good, and also the house chow mein was great!
